Tourist Information for Ibiza, Spain
Ibiza in the Spanish Balearic Islands is a very popular tourist destination. The island has many Tourist Information Centers which can be found in the main towns that provide lots of information for visitors. They can give you lots of tips on how to improve your stay on the island.
The official currency on the island is the Euro. Remember that you must declare amounts in excess of $6,000 when you leave Spain. There are two languages spoken in Ibiza – Spanish and Catalan. Other languages such as English and German are spoken in most popular locals. You should remember to tip for food or drink. From ten to fifteen percent is normal. Bars and clubs usually stay open until 3 or four in the morning.
Hotels in Ibiza offer much in the way of different amenities. If you are bringing a pet check with the hotel first to make sure they are allowed. Many of the 5 star hotel Ibiza offer different options with regards to pets. Be aware that they are not usually allowed in bars and Ibiza restaurants.
You should bring only light clothing during the summer months. In the evenings it can occasionally get cooler. In the winter you should bring a jacket or coat and umbrella.
