Lanai: One of Hawaii’s Magical Isles
If you are planning a Hawaii vacation, make sure you include Lanai, a gem of an island that still feels like old Hawaii. Even through the island is small, there are so many things to do that you may never get to visit the other islands! Here are some of the reasons why many vacationers decide to stay on this island paradise:
The Monro Trail, which extends for 11 miles, takes you along a volcano’s rim as you gape at the magnificent views of other nearby islands. You can hike or take a four-wheel drive if you want less of a rigorous workout.
Snorkeling on Hulopo’e Beach is one of the great thrills for those of you who love the water. Ogle the radiant tropical fish, play in the waves, explore the tide poos, and make friends with the spinner dolphins. This beach is one of the best beaches in all Hawaii for staying wet all day long.
Whale watch at Polihua Beach when they come during the winter months to warm themselves. This lovely beach is on the north shore of the island and is a wonderful place to come any time of year, as there are many water activities to enjoy.
No vacation to Hawaii is complete without even just a brief visit to the romantic island of Lanai.
