Israeli Government Approves NIS 176M for Hotels

The Israeli Industry, Trade and Labor Ministry has approved a budget of NIS 176 million for the construction and expansion of hotels outside the center of the country, ministry officials announced Monday.

The decision, reached following discussions with Tourism Ministry General Director Shaul Zemach, gave its largest allocation, NIS 105m., for guest facilities in the Negev, including NIS 70m. for the construction of a hotel and vacation village in Mitzpe Ramon.    Read more
