Migrating Address Books and Email

Thursday, February 28th, 2008

I bought a new computer recently.  I managed to transfer most of the stuff from my old computer with relative ease.  However when it came time to convert Eudora to Outlook I was stuck!  I’ve heard of many people having trouble when they convert emails.  I went online to look for solutions.  I found the Connected Software site which has lots of solutions relating to email and address books.

I also got help relating to some of the other issues I have been facing.  I was able to sort out my GAL to Blackberry problems.  I was also able to import AOL favorites which was a great help.

The Connected Software site is an excellent resource for information relating to migrating address books and email.

Maps Stir My Imagination

Tuesday, February 19th, 2008

Its always exciting to head out on a trip.  Whether it is in the car heading to a local destination or in a plane heading to the other side of the world the buzz always gets to me when I am heading off.

What do you need on these trips. Well I always pack light.  A change of clothes, some toiletries, my journal and some maps.  Maps are a necessity.  I always carry a world map on my travels.  You never know when you will feel inspired to plan a new trip!  If its local I will have my map of United States handy plus some local ones such as map of California, a map of Florida or a map of Georgia.

My imagination runs riot when I look at a map.  My mind flies off and in my head I start planning new ways to fit in all the things I want to see.  I also never read a book without having a map or atlas handy as a reference.  Reading about other people’s travels is an inspiration and reinforces my desire to devote so much of my life to traveling.
